Help build the platform layer for enterprise software.

We're a small team of platform engineers building the backend we wished we had. If you've felt the pain of rebuilding the same plumbing every two years, you'll fit in here.

Hiring updates How we work

// remote-first, US · async by default · SOC 2 Type 2 report

// the work

What you'd actually do here.

You'll work on the layered object model, the operators that reconcile it, and the addon catalog that runs on every customer cluster. Real Kubernetes, real multi-cloud, real production traffic, not a demo.

We ship release by release, not big-bang. You'll own a surface end to end, write the design doc, and defend the trade-offs. We keep teams small so the person who builds a thing is the person who runs it.

// how we operate

A few things we believe.

Small teams, full ownership

You own a surface from design doc to on-call. No throwing work over a wall: the person who builds it runs it.

Async by default

We write things down. Decisions live in docs and PRs, not in meetings you had to attend live across four time zones.

Security is the floor

The controls in our SOC 2 report, supply-chain scanning, and least-privilege are defaults in how we build, not a quarter-end scramble.

One thousand no's

We ship less, better. Saying no to scope is how the platform stays something a team can defend in a board meeting.

Builder-to-builder

Our buyers are engineers and so are we. We've run the platform teams we're building for, and we sound like it.

Open source, on the record

We build on Crossplane, Cluster API, Istio, Kyverno, and ArgoCD, and contribute back. Your work ships in the open.

// how we hire

Four steps. No take-home that takes a weekend.

01

Intro call

30 minutes with the hiring manager. What you've built, what you want next, what we're working on.

02

Technical deep-dive

A working session on a real problem from our backlog. Bring your environment. No whiteboard trivia.

03

Team conversations

Two or three chats with people you'd work alongside. Values, collaboration, and how you think out loud.

04

Offer

References, then a written offer with transparent comp and equity. Most candidates finish in under three weeks.

// the package

What you get.

Real equity

Meaningful early-stage equity with a 10-year exercise window. You own a piece of what you build.

Health, fully covered

Medical, dental, and vision premiums covered for you and dependents. No deductible games.

Remote-first, US

Work where you work best. A home-office stipend and a real laptop, not a locked-down loaner.

Time that's actually off

Minimum three weeks plus the week between Christmas and New Year. On-call is rotated and paid.

Learning budget

An annual budget for conferences, courses, and certs, KubeCon included. We ship in the open; we learn in the open.

Two on-sites a year

We gather the whole team twice a year to plan, build, and spend time together in person.
